Finally some one has the balls to say what Black America has been saying for 200 years, WHITE AMERICA CARES NOTHING ABOUT THE WELFARE OF POOR BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!!!!I have been watching the coverage of the hurricane for days and each day I become more inraged by the lack of humillity and prompt care for the people whose lives have been ruined by this tragedy. What was the white house thinking!!! % days, 5 muthafucking days before you decided to send care packages!? There is no excuse for this! People are screaming at the T.V. for help, babies dying right in thier mothers arms, dead bodies decompose right on the streets, and THIS IS AMERICA!!!
But all they want is to hear about are the "looters" and the "lawless chaos" but even some news reporters like Geraldo Rivera have even said that he hasn't saw anything that would give you that idea! He even went on to say that those people were acting very civil despite the circumstances! So why does the actions of one person all of a sudden dictate what a whole people are doing? Because white america likes to put us in a lump catergory. you see a few black people looting so they "all" must be looting. NOT considering that most people have little to no resources to survive. Now to thoses folks that are stealing Flat panel T.V.'s,stealing from the mall, ect. What the Fuck are you going to do with a t.v. when it was just drenched in water? QUIT CONBRITUTING TO THE STREOTYPE AND DO SOMETHING POSITIVE!!!!
But my hat goes off to the luis vuttion don himself Kanye West for his poignant and honest comments at the Hurricane Katrina Benefit concert! He wasn't lying when he said Bush don't care about black people! Even though they cut his comments out of the show and tried to make it look like he was just doing another display like at the american music awards, I feel that he has a honesty that we have lost in this politically correct world. Kanye west is the truth!!!!I also would like to give a big much love to the mayor of new orleans also. When i heard the comments he made on talk radio, it made me want to write this blog!!
